Every couple months there'll be a picture in the newspaper like the one below. In this instance (February 2004), a group of Cubans rigged up an old Buick to be a boat, so they could get to America. They got caught by the Coast Guard and were sent back. I'm against illegal immigration, but I say make an exception for these folks. Aren't these the sort of people we want in our country? People who have skills? For goodness sakes, they've managed to convert a 45 year old car into a boat capable of crossing open waters!
