DESCRIPTION

FOR SALE is the passenger seat from a 1993 Dodge Shadow ES V6 two-door. The seat is gray cloth with gray vinyl. It features full-recline capability, one-touch tip-forward for back seat entry, an adjustable headrest, and an intertial seat lock. The seat is in working mechanical condition. When attached to the included rails, it slides forward and backward on the rails.

There are no tears, scuffs, stains, or wear. The vehicle from which the seat came had only 66,000 miles on it when the seat was removed, meaning little load was placed on the internal foam and supports through regular use, yielding a factory-fresh feel of contoured fit. The upholstery is odor-free.

The seat has a minor tear across the back, near the bottom, and a tear on the left side bolster. Both tears are in the vinyl section and should be easily repairable. There are NO TEARS or wear on the cloth portion of the seat.

The seat is currently attached to a plywood panel, which is NOT included in the purchase price and is not offered for sale.

The tracks are in good condition, with fully-operational mechanisms and limited corrosion.

Asking price for the complete package is $120 US. Buyer pays shipping, which will incur an additional charge beyond agreed-upon purchase price. If shipped, the tracks will be attached to the seat. Seller is willing to deliver items to a mutually-beneficial location for a nominal fee. Terms are cash (in person) or PayPal (in person or shipping, payable before delivery).

The seat is gray cloth and exhibits the stain-free sheen that comes from light use.


This photograph demonstrates that the tip-forward capability of the seat is intact and operational. The intertia lock release lever is clearly visible and its operation has been verified.


This photograph demonstrates that the seat's reclilning mechanism is intact and operational. The seat has been laid flat for ease of photography.


The two minor vinyl tears are visible in this photograph. No loss of stuffing material has occurred; these are easily repaired with a vinyl repair kit or . . . duct tape.


The tracks come with the adjustment handle (with the rubber-sheated handle end) and the connecting wire that allows the handle to release both tracks simultaneously for movement.


When shipped, the tracks will be attached in place of the plywood board using the stock bolts. The bolts in this photograph are used to attach the tracks to the floorpan of the car; any replacement of an existing seat would yield those same bolts, along with the trim caps and plastic trim piece.
